Information Security Specialist

Job Description

Adyen is seeking an Information Security Specialist to join their growing security team in Chicago. This role will be the local expert on general security topics, collaborating with various teams to build secure financial services. The specialist will support teams in making informed choices and achieving strong security outcomes, addressing challenges such as embedding security in the product lifecycle and balancing security risks with business opportunities.Role involves:

• Shaping and executing security culture in Chicago and the Americas.
• Collaborating with the global security team on security challenges.
• Supporting engineers in secure systems architecture.
• Facilitating security activities like threat modeling and secure design reviews.
• Building tools and automated processes for security visibility and control.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in the security domain.
• Experience in Development Security, Secure Design, Container Security, Mobile Security, Infrastructure Security, or DevSecOps.
• Enthusiasm for security and ability to foster a strong security culture.
• Understanding of people-based and technology-based security solutions.
• Proficiency in automation and building tooling.
