Job Description
The Financial Times is seeking a Senior User Researcher to join their Product Design and User Research team in Sofia for a parental leave cover. The role involves working within the Specialist pillar, focusing on understanding audiences across the portfolio, including FT Locations, The Banker, and FT Adviser. The Senior User Researcher will collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end product experiences, from exploratory research to measuring and iterating.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning and prioritising research strategies.
- Collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers.
- Conducting generative research activities.
- Mapping user experiences and journeys.
- Ideating, iterating, and testing concepts.
- Synthesising takeaways and sharing insights.
- Evolving research processes and product development.
The ideal candidate should have:
- Proven research skills with experience in various methods and techniques.
- Clear communication and presentation skills.
- Good initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Natural curiosity about user behavior and needs.
- A degree or interest in psychology, anthropology, sociology, HCI, or related fields (bonus).
