Job Description
StockX, a Detroit-based technology leader, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their Sell Team. This team focuses on building tools and experiences for sellers worldwide to list, manage, sell, and ship their products, ensuring a healthy marketplace for both sellers and buyers. The Associate Software Engineer will collaborate with a team of top-level engineers to build a scalable, high-throughput platform.

Role Involves:
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers to build a platform.
  • Owning solutions from start to finish, including defining solutions, breaking down projects, setting milestones, documenting services, building systems, testing, and supporting production operations.
  • Researching and implementing cutting-edge technology to handle massive scale.
  • Contributing to a collaborative culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Tackling technical challenges and working on high-impact projects.

Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of relevant development experience.
  • Experience with distributed architecture.
  • Proficiency in one or more back-end languages (NodeJS, GoLang) or equivalent.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with data storage technologies (relational and NoSQL).
  • Experience with event-based architecture and related technologies (Kafka, SNS, SQS).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.
