Quality Assurance Engineer, Manufacturing

Job Description

• Enhancing Supplier Quality Culture through process improvement projects.
• Utilizing quality tools to resolve issues related to non-conformances and Customer RMAs.
• Managing supplier-related NCR/SCAR/CAR activities.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining an AS9100-compliant Quality Management System.
• Analyzing non-conformance trends and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Problem-solving and following up on troubled orders to improve supplier quality.
• Applying engineering knowledge to ensure quality hardware meets customer requirements.
• Participating in QA and RMA Meetings.
• Overseeing internal production of products from a quality perspective.
• Monitoring and reviewing quality metrics.
• Assisting with onsite Customer Audits.
• Supporting Quality Management System requirements.
• Aiding the Quality Control Lab as necessary.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in an engineering or quality role.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a supplier-facing role.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering drawing requirements.
• Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Able to multitask, meet deadlines, and support supplier quality activities.
• Experience with DFMEA/PFMEA and DFM/DFQ.
• Strong manufacturing knowledge.
• Able to read and interpret CAD Models & Drawings.
• Strong time management/project management capabilities.
• Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies.
• Knowledge of Process Certification/Process Robustness.
• Superior analytic and articulation skills.
