AstroPay is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join their engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and building scalable backend systems that power AstroPay’s core products. The role involves understanding system architecture, optimizing performance, and collaborating with other teams to build innovative and robust solutions. • Designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems, APIs, and databases.
• Working closely with product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contributing to architectural decisions and ensuring code quality and performance.
• Monitoring and improving system reliability.

Requirements include:

• 5+ years of experience as a backend developer.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, Node.js or similar.
• Strong knowledge in databases.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and database optimization.
