Sales Finance Director

Job Description

Pure Storage is seeking a Sales Finance Director to join their Sales Finance team. This role involves partnering with leaders across the global sales organization and leading the GTM Finance Shared Services team in Prague. The Director will develop financial metrics and implement scalable operational processes to support Pure’s growth. This position requires strong business partnership, analytics, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

• Leading the Prague-based GTM Finance Shared Services team.
• Providing financial leadership to global sales functions.
• Driving financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior leadership.
• Assessing new GTM initiatives and building business cases.
• Overseeing forecasting of sales compensation and incentive spend.
• Evaluating ROI on GTM investments and recommending cost-effective strategies.
• Delivering financial modeling and analysis for strategic initiatives.
• Partnering with sales and finance leadership to create accurate forecasts.
• Assisting in prioritizing investments across regions and segments.
• Translating data into strategic insights and forward-looking narratives.
• Establishing and refining financial metrics and reporting.
• Driving process improvements related to financial reporting.
• Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals.

• 10+ years of experience in high-tech industries with leadership experience.
• Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Anaplan) and financial planning tools.
