Job Description
Via is seeking a Director of Public Sector Business Development to lead sales efforts for strategic accounts in the Central US. The Director will identify opportunities, generate new business, and manage all aspects of the sales cycle. This role involves building relationships with public sector clients and promoting Via's technology.Via is using technology to transform transportation around the world. From changing a single person’s daily commute to reducing humanity’s collective environmental footprint — Via’s got huge goals. What this role involves:
  • Identifying prospective partners and building relationships with clients.
  • Leading execution and strategy for full-cycle Sales efforts.
  • Strategically navigating the market's buying landscape.
  • Educating and consulting with clients to develop regional transit plans.
  • Championing Via's mission and technology.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of client-facing experience in Sales, Business Development, Consulting, or similar.
  • Experience working with the public sector is preferred.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Commercial intuition and judgment.
  • Self-starter with a growth mentality.
  • Excellent team player.
  • Expertise in prospecting and developing relationships with senior-level officials.
  • Willingness to travel 25-50% as needed.
