Jobber is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to lead the Website and Service Customer Intake teams. This role involves guiding architectural and technical decisions, collaborating with senior technical leaders, and ensuring solutions are technically sound and strategically scoped. The Manager will report to a Senior Manager of Software Engineering and support team members in developing their skills and careers.Jobber helps small home service businesses transform the way service is delivered through technology. The Websites team enables service providers to launch professional websites, while the SC Intake team supports providers with tools like Online Booking and Request forms.Responsibilities:

• Facilitate team performance and individual growth.
• Provide coaching and constructive feedback.
• Participate in recruiting and team development.
• Remove roadblocks and build guardrails for the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business.

Requirements:

• Established software engineering background with leadership experience.
• Strong full-stack technical background, including design and architectural experience.
• Deep knowledge and experience in either Ruby On Rails or ReactJS.
• Ability to deliver impactful projects on time.
• Agility in an agile environment.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
