Job Description
Talkdesk is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the development and expansion of its Industries verticals portfolio. This is a strategic role that will report into the Industries zone of the Product & Engineering team. The Senior Product Manager will spearhead Talkdesk's move into new markets such as Travel, Hospitality, and Utilities, building on the company's strong momentum in verticals like Healthcare, Financial Services, and Retail. The ideal candidate will own the full product lifecycle, crafting solutions that resonate deeply with each vertical’s unique challenges.
Role involves:
- Contributing to the vision and design of a next-generation customer experience platform.
- Creating and maintaining close relationships with internal and external customers.
- Creating processes to capture, analyze, leverage, and share user insights.
- Working with engineering, marketing, and sales to build business use cases and define requirements for new feature enhancements, products, and services.
- Helping to prioritize the product roadmap with engineering, design, marketing, and sales.
- Collaborating with marketing and product ops to effectively launch new services, features and enhancements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field required.
- 4+ years of Product Management experience.
- Solid understanding of relevant technology and tools including APIs, cloud solutions, and programming languages is preferred.
- Collaborative team player, with strong communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Strong sense of customer empathy.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technologies and business needs.
- Understand the development and implementation of large-scale, complex applications in a call center technology environment.
- Experience with banking and insurance is preferred.
- Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and succeed in an environment with competing demands.
- Proven ability to take the initiative, use consultative skills and build strong, productive relationships.
