Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Portfolio Manager, Loans to join their financial services team. This role involves supporting the optimization of returns, financial risk strategies, and market expansion. The Portfolio Manager will report to the Director of Loan Portfolio Management and assist in managing the advance fund portfolio, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance with service policies and procedures.
Role Involves:
- Identifying opportunities to increase market share while maintaining acceptable default rates.
- Evaluating and maintaining partnerships to support capital activities growth.
- Creating off-balance sheet financing options for Lightspeed Capital.
- Leading processes with potential investors.
- Monitoring the performance of the advance fund portfolio.
- Negotiating legal agreements with investors.
- Managing relationships with finance, risk management, marketing, and operations teams.
- Preparing summaries for the board of directors and senior management.
- Collaborating with global stakeholders to implement credit loss and fraud prevention solutions.
Requirements:
- At least 6 years of experience in strategic finance, capital markets, or banking.
- Understanding and experience in setting up and operating advance flow programs.
- Knowledge of modeling approaches for corporate financial data.
- Practical understanding of data science (segmentation, modeling, etc.) and SQL.
- Experience collaborating with global stakeholders, particularly in the United States.
