Job Description
Central California Alliance for Health is seeking a Provider Payment Strategy Manager to join their Payment Strategy Department. This role is responsible for managing the advancement of provider reimbursement methodologies, aligning with organizational strategies, and advising executive leadership. The ideal candidate will be an experienced analytical and collaborative leader with direct experience in managing provider payment strategies within a managed care setting.Role involves:
- Managing the advancement of provider reimbursement methodologies.
- Evaluating the feasibility of reimbursement methodologies.
- Providing management oversight and guidance related to the provider reimbursement function.
- Managing, supervising, mentoring, and training assigned staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Health Care, or a related field.
- Minimum of eight years of experience performing provider reimbursement activities and/or provider payment strategy activities.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a managed care environment.
- Minimum of three years of management, supervisory, or lead experience.
- Knowledge of provider reimbursement methodologies, pricing, and fee schedules.
- Knowledge of provider contracting.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry specific terms and healthcare related data types and structures.
