Product Engineer I

Job Description

Zafin is seeking a Product Engineer I to join their team in India. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in Java back-end development and a strong understanding of RESTful API design. This role involves working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git.

• Developing and maintaining Java back-end systems
• Designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Participating in CI/CD pipelines
• Using version control systems such as Git

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in Java back-end development
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot
• Good understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git
• Exposure to containerized environments, Kubernetes, or cloud-native development
• Basic understanding of messaging systems like Kafka
• Solid foundation in object-oriented programming and common design patterns
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
