Job Description

IONOS, a leading European provider of cloud infrastructure, is seeking a Commercial Product Manager to drive the go-to-market and commercial success of their website product segment. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, monitor product performance, and implement pricing strategies.

The Commercial Product Manager will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with product and marketing teams to develop go-to-market, positioning, and messaging strategies.
  • Monitoring and analyzing commercial product performance and market environment to continuously optimize.
  • Driving the implementation of go-to-market and commercial optimization strategies for all brands, working closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Defining and implementing pricing strategies to increase customer and revenue growth.
  • Creating business cases (in collaboration with finance) and decision-making templates for management.

IONOS requires the following qualifications:

  • Completed degree or training in business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in product management or similar commercial roles in a software/technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and familiarity with profit and loss statements, recurring revenues, and conversion rates.
  • Passion and expertise in the field of websites, e-commerce, and online marketing.
  • Communicative and able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A "can-do" attitude and willingness to thrive in an agile environment.
  • Fluent German and English language skills.
