Fortune Media is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager (UK) to join their sales team in London. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and achieving sales targets. This role involves collaborating with the UK/Europe team and the marketing teams in London and New York City to develop digital media proposals and pricing for prospective clients.
The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in expanding Fortune's footprint in the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate a strong pipeline of new business opportunities.
- Foster and expand existing client relationships.
- Collaborate with the US-based marketing team to develop tailored media proposals.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, particularly C-Suite executives.
- Understand and articulate the value proposition of Fortune's product portfolio.
- Manage the media sales pipeline effectively.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated success as a high-performing digital media sales professional.
- At least 5 years of experience in media sales within the financial media sector.
- Exceptional communication skills.
- Proven capability in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
- CRM and or Salesforce experience.
- Adept at navigating complex organizational structures.
- Work in the London office Monday through Thursday at a minimum.
- Be work authorized in the UK.
