Job Description
Tandem Bank is seeking a Prudential Risk Oversight Consultant for a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave. The role involves providing second-line-of-defense support within the Prudential Risk team, focusing on ICAAP, ILAAP, and assurance activities. The consultant will work closely with the Director of Prudential Risk and collaborate with teams across Finance, Treasury, and Credit Risk.
Role Involves:
- Supporting the coordination, development, and oversight of the Bank’s ICAAP and ILAAP.
- Ensuring key prudential risks are effectively managed.
- Providing technical guidance on prudential risk methodologies.
- Leading thematic assurance and independent reviews.
- Monitoring external developments and assessing their impact on the Bank’s risk profile.
- Contributing to Risk Committee and senior management reporting.
- Supporting wider risk initiatives and transformation projects.
Requirements:
- Prudential risk experience in banking, consulting, or regulation.
- Strong knowledge of UK prudential regulation.
- Experience in ICAAP development or oversight.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to provide credible challenge and advice.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
