Job Description
Parallel is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support school partnerships in Arizona for the 2025-2026 school year. The SLP will empower students with learning differences by providing exceptional care and equipping them with the tools needed for success. Parallel simplifies the process of getting support for learning differences by consolidating providers and resources on a single platform.What this role involves:
  • Conducting SLP evaluations and delivering direct services to children.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Monitoring each child's progress and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Communicating with parents, staff, and students regarding progress.
  • Completing essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Meeting with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss student needs.
  • Actively participating in team meetings.
What Parallel requires:
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • At least 1 year of experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting (CFY not included).
  • Experience in IEP meetings, case management, and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms.
  • Availability during school hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday).
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus!
