Speech-Language Pathologist - Washington (25-26 School Year)

Job Description

Parallel is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to support school partnerships in Washington for the 2025-2026 school year. The Speech-Language Pathologist will empower students with learning differences. Parallel simplifies work, allowing focus on quality care.Role involves:

• Conducting SLP evaluations and deliver direct services to children
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop treatment plans and IEPs
• Monitoring each child's progress and adjusting strategies
• Communicating with parents, staff, and students regarding progress
• Completing essential documentation for IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations
• Meeting with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss student needs
• Actively participating in team meetings

Requirements:

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• At least 1 year of experience providing IEP-directed therapy and evaluations in a school setting (CFY not included)
• Experience in IEP meetings, case management, and completing educational eligibility determinations and comprehensive reports
• Strong communication skills
• Comfort with technology and virtual telehealth platforms
• Availability during school hours (8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday)
• Fluency in additional languages is a plus!
