Associate Account Manager - Retail

Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking an Associate Account Manager to join their retail sales team in North America. The role involves managing a book of retail customers with the goal of retaining them, mitigating churn, upselling additional modules, and ensuring timely subscription renewals. The Associate Account Manager will also be responsible for upgrading qualifying customers to more advanced software platforms.Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead point of contact for customers.
• Demonstrate software solutions, from core POS products to modules and upgrades.
• Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and identify upsell opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize growth.
• Guide qualifying customers through their upgrade path.
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers to identify at-risk accounts and prevent churn.
• Track key business metrics.

Requirements:

• Experience in a quota-carrying sales role.
• Understanding of solution-based consultative sales in a SaaS environment.
• Ability to use Salesforce.com and other technologies.
