Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive revenue growth for its NuORDER Wholesale Network. This role involves generating and qualifying leads, serving as the initial point of contact for potential customers in the global marketplace. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the Brand Acquisition team and contribute to outreach strategies.
Role Involves:
Driving new business growth within the Lightspeed NuORDER Network segment.
Connecting with top executives from brands that sell to Lightspeed POS merchants.
Identifying customer needs to determine if the NuORDER Connect offering is a good fit.
Prospecting, engaging, nurturing, and qualifying new leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn messaging.
Collaborating with the Sr. Manager of Brand Acquisition on signing brands.
Assisting management with iterating on outreach best practices and developing new strategies.
Working cross-functionally with marketing on campaigns & events.
Working cross-functionally with the NuORDER team on cross-selling/upselling opportunities.
Mentoring new SDRs as the team expands.
Requirements:
2+ years of professional experience in a retail role interacting with senior leadership.
Experience working in a target-based environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent customer service and telephone skills, including strong listening, verbal, and written communication.
