Job Description
Yondr is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the E2E commercial project strategy and execute project commercial governance. The Commercial Manager will coordinate internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on budget. This role requires an individual with high standards and a proven record in managing data centers or major projects through their full lifecycle. The ideal candidate will possess excellent negotiating skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.

Role Involves:

  • Managing and coordinating the project commercial team.
  • Implementing and executing the procurement and contract strategy.
  • Ensuring adherence to procurement processes and company policies.
  • Managing the Cost Plan to ensure the design aligns with the approved budget.
  • Providing commercial input within the design process.
  • Preparing and evaluating construction/services budgets.
  • Managing monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts.
  • Administering main contracts and fulfilling client obligations.
  • Building relationships with funders and fund monitors.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a lead commercial role, preferably in the data center sector.
  • Experience working for an owner/operator/developer, main contractor, or cost consultant.
  • Experience in contract creation and administration.
  • Previous experience managing people/teams, specifically cost consultants.
  • Understanding of the construction project lifecycle of a data center or major project.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • BSc degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Member of a professional body (MRICS) is desirable.
