Vonage is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team in Tokyo. This role is crucial for guiding customers through the pre-sales journey and shaping technical solutions. The Solutions Engineer will work alongside account managers, product teams, and customers to uncover needs, deliver presentations, and ensure a smooth transition to post-sales success. They will bring Vonage's API offerings to life through tailored demos and clear technical communication.

Role Involves:

  • Creating solution designs for customer sales quotes.
  • Joining sales calls to provide technical insight.
  • Leading technical discovery sessions.
  • Delivering tailored product demos.
  • Developing compelling proposals.
  • Supporting cross-functional teams with technical expertise.
  • Staying current on industry trends.
  • Presenting product and technical content.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a Pre-Sales role within CPaaS, SaaS, or Hardware.
  • Ability to build relationships with sales teams, partners, vendors, and customers.
  • Native fluency in Japanese and ability to communicate in English.
  • Understanding of the sales process and solution selling.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the sales region.
