Vonage is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join their team in Tokyo. This role is crucial for guiding customers through the pre-sales journey and shaping technical solutions. The Solutions Engineer will work alongside account managers, product teams, and customers to uncover needs, deliver presentations, and ensure a smooth transition to post-sales success. They will bring Vonage's API offerings to life through tailored demos and clear technical communication.
Role Involves:
- Creating solution designs for customer sales quotes.
- Joining sales calls to provide technical insight.
- Leading technical discovery sessions.
- Delivering tailored product demos.
- Developing compelling proposals.
- Supporting cross-functional teams with technical expertise.
- Staying current on industry trends.
- Presenting product and technical content.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a Pre-Sales role within CPaaS, SaaS, or Hardware.
- Ability to build relationships with sales teams, partners, vendors, and customers.
- Native fluency in Japanese and ability to communicate in English.
- Understanding of the sales process and solution selling.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Willingness to travel throughout the sales region.
