Backbase is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to facilitate product knowledge and ensure successful global go-to-market execution. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic positioning and messaging of the Backbase product portfolio for Retail Banking & Wealth. This role involves collaborating with various teams to gather market insights and create content for global and local campaigns targeting retail banking and wealth business leaders.Backbase is looking for someone who can build a deep understanding of customer needs, the market, and the competition. The ideal candidate will create go-to-market strategies, define segmentation, and develop sales plays. They will also manage and create content such as whitepapers, solution briefs, and customer success stories.
Responsibilities: - Build a deep understanding of customer needs and the market.
- Create Go-To-Market strategies and plans.
- Define segmentation, use cases, and buyer personas.
- Manage and create content to support Retail Banking & Wealth motions.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to develop effective materials and tools.
- Work with the product team to uncover new markets and influence roadmap decisions.
- Validate hypotheses through customer interviews and data analysis.
- Monitor competitive activities and identify opportunities.
Requirements: - 7+ years of experience in B2B software product or performance marketing.
- 4+ years of experience in product marketing or related area.
- Experience in banking / financial services / fintech is a plus.
- Native or native-level writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to grasp complex, technical subjects and make them easy to understand.
