Job Description
Xaira Therapeutics is seeking a Proteomics Scientist to elucidate drug mechanisms and develop new proteomic technologies for target discovery. The Proteomics Scientist will design and execute experiments using disease-relevant cell models and analyze proteomic experiments. The role involves advancing the company's platform, contributing to drug discovery project teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct global proteome, interactome, and phospho-proteomics experiments.
- Develop, validate, and utilize relevant cell models.
- Interpret and present scientific findings.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively across teams.
- Identify and establish emerging proteomics methods/technologies.
- Contribute to scientific publications, patents, and presentations.
Requirements:
- Ph.D in biochemistry, cell biology, or related field with experience in mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
