Senior Machine Learning Operations Engineer

Job Description

Easygo is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Engineer to join their Data Science Team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's machine learning operations, delivering robust, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and automation solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work with petabyte-scale data across global platforms, impacting millions of users.

Role involves:

• Leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of end-to-end ML infrastructure and automation solutions.
• Driving cloud infrastructure and architectural decisions using Terraform.
• Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for model integration and deployment.
• Building and optimising monitoring, alerting, and logging for model reliability.
• Collaborating with data scientists and stakeholders to streamline workflows.
• Providing mentorship to junior MLOps engineers and data scientists.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in MLOps, DevOps, Data Engineering, or cloud infrastructure roles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Expert proficiency in cloud infrastructure management using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for ML workloads.
• Proficiency with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Advanced proficiency in Python and scripting for infrastructure automation.
