Security Architect

Job Description

Rockstar Games is seeking a talented Security Architect to join their team. The successful candidate will provide cybersecurity expertise and collaborate across teams to identify and communicate risk, mitigation options, and solutions to safeguard employees, information systems, and intellectual property. This is a full-time, in-office position based out of Rockstar’s NYC headquarters in Downtown Manhattan.

The Rockstar Security team is responsible for advancing the state of information security across the company globally by prioritizing and executing security initiatives that drive down risk. They strive to understand the threat landscape affecting their development studios, the gaming industry, and the world at large to define information security policies, standards, and procedures to safeguard their business and protect their players.

Responsibilities include:

• Gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying vulnerabilities in existing systems.
• Developing strategies to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation for security systems and processes.
• Proactively researching and engaging emerging vendors and technologies.
• Maintaining knowledge of current security trends and changes in the threat landscape.

Requirements include:

• A subject matter expert well versed in multiple technologies across security domains.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, Engineering, or related field, with considerable experience in Information Security.
• 3+ years in an enterprise-level security consultative role building and assessing Information Security architectures and programs.
• Experience with common infrastructure technologies that support development environments.
• Experience with securing complex on-prem and cloud AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.
• Possess industry-recognized certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), and/or AWS/GCP/Azure certifications.
