Job Description

Adyen is seeking a Finance Support Specialist to join their team in Chicago. Adyen is the financial technology platform of choice for leading companies like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft. The company provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution.

The Finance Support Specialist will be an expert on Adyen’s finance and treasury platform, supporting the financial teams of merchants globally. This role involves close collaboration with Finance, Product, Account Management, and Development teams.

Role involves:

  • Being the first point of contact for merchants and commercial teams for financial related issues.
  • Educating and advising merchants’ financial teams on how to best gain value from Adyen's platform, products and features.
  • Receiving and analyzing merchant pain points and working closely with Adyen’s Finance Product and Development teams to improve or build new products.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience with exposure to financial products (issuing, business accounts, capital/business financing) within a banking or Fintech environment.
  • Strong finance and analytical skills.
  • Strong commercial sensibility and comfort with direct merchant contact.
  • Ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure and prioritize appropriately.
  • Previous exposure to environments rich in uncertainty.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel.
