Program Officer, Lending

Job Description

LISC, a community development organization, is seeking a Lending Program Officer for its Upstate SC office. This role focuses on advancing the community development lending program by deploying capital and guiding development capacity. The Program Officer will be responsible for lending business development and loan originations, supporting LISC’s strategic priorities.Responsibilities include:

• Developing a strategic approach to support lending growth.
• Building and managing a pipeline of projects.
• Providing technical assistance to local borrowers.
• Developing and managing relationships with strategic partners.
• Serving as primary underwriter.

Qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree OR relevant related work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in lending, finance, or community development.
• Familiarity with real estate markets in Upstate SC.
• Knowledge of financing products.
