Job Description
Viator, a Tripadvisor company, is seeking a Paid Search Optimization Manager to manage the technical operations of their paid search program. The ideal candidate will be part of a dynamic and innovative team, playing a crucial role in shaping the company's future success. This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of critical data integrations that power paid search bidding strategies and managing projects to enhance the SEM program to deliver incremental revenue.
Role involves:
- Managing the day-to-day functionality of data integrations between internal platforms and search tools.
- Monitoring daily operations to ensure all data pipelines and integrations are functioning correctly.
- Troubleshooting and fixing broken systems or processes.
- Managing and documenting workflows.
- Partnering with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to build and refine processes and database queries.
- Leading projects to enhance SEM performance.
- Conducting root cause analyses for operational issues.
- Proactively exploring emerging technologies and best practices.
- Creating technical documentation and workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field.
- 3-4+ years of experience in a data analytics position, preferably in a digital marketing environment.
- Understanding of martech platforms and search advertising tools.
- Familiarity with database structures and troubleshooting data pipelines.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues under time constraints.
- Expertise in interrogating data using SQL and writing custom SQL queries.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
