Job Description
Coast is seeking an Account Executive to focus on B2B card payments infrastructure. The Account Executive will play a critical role in driving revenue for Coast by identifying, developing, and closing relationships with prospective clients. This role involves a customer-first sales approach, contributing to the sales strategy, and enabling the success of future sales colleagues.
Responsibilities include: - Owning the entire customer sales cycle for businesses operating between 50 and 1,000 vehicles.
- Driving revenue through consultative selling.
- Developing a sales pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting and closing inbound leads.
- Articulating the Coast value proposition to decision-makers and executives.
- Collaborating with marketing to create a holistic customer engagement strategy.
- Sharing customer feedback with product, finance, and risk teams.
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
- Providing input into the sales organization strategy.
- Developing recommendations to improve and optimize the sales engine.
Requirements include: - Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in B2B sales with 3+ years of full sales cycle experience as an AE.
- Familiarity with Fleet and Trade organizations is a bonus.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Experience with outbound sales and lead generation using Salesforce, Outreach, and other key tools.
- Ability to identify and engage decision-makers.
- Capability of demonstrating value and handling objections for a financial technology product.
- Comfort performing fast-paced, transactional sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Willingness to build and sail the ship as one of the first sales hires.
- Positive attitude with a growth mindset.
