Job Description

Tenstorrent is seeking a skilled Sr. Layout Engineer to contribute to their cutting-edge AI technology. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in board layout for high-performance computing and AI hardware, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet layout margins and specifications.Role involves:

• Performing PCB layout of high-speed/high-density HDI PCBs.
• Initial floor planning and detailed placement of components.
• Constraint creation & management, following topologies and signal integrity requirements.
• Ensuring designs comply with SI constraints, EMI/RFI best practices, and regulations.
• Adding and adjusting power planes in cooperation with power engineers.
• Interfacing with fab vendors for optimal stackup.

Requirements:

• S.E.E or Computer Sciences degree (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in the data center or computer industry.
• Familiarity with PCB design and expertise in layout, routing, and timing constraints.
• Understanding of High-Density Interconnect, VIPPo, multilamination, uvia & backdrill PCB layout and basic PCB Signal Integrity.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
