Sr. Quality System Engineer

Job Description

Tenstorrent is seeking a Sr. Quality System Engineer to join their Quality team in North America. The Quality System Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that the organization’s products and processes meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability in compliance with industry regulations. This role demands a methodical and proactive approach to quality management with a deep understanding of industry standards, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable products that meet customer expectations. This role is hybrid, based out of Toronto, ON.

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s quality management system in accordance with industry standards.
• Perform internal audits to verify QMS effectiveness.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and work cross-functionally with various teams.
• Work with suppliers to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare, review, and maintain quality-related documentation.
• Act as a point of contact between the company and customers on quality-related issues.
• Provide training and support to staff and teams on quality system procedures and practices.
• Support the identification and mitigation of risks related to product quality, supplier performance, and process stability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in quality management.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, etc.).
• Strong experience with automotive product development processes.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, root cause analysis, 8D, Six Sigma, Lean, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers, and to liaise with customers effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office and experience with quality management software.
