Job Description
DevRev is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Engineer to join its pre-sales team. The Solutions Engineer will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions for prospective customers. They will collaborate with various teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements. DevRev is a company that provides an AgentOS platform for SaaS companies, connecting various teams and reducing the number of apps needed.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing technical support to the sales team.
  • Conducting live product demonstrations.
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their technical requirements.
  • Assisting in the creation of technical proposals.
  • Analyzing competitor products.
  • Training sales teams on the technical aspects of products.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers.
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Customizing solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Ensuring a seamless transition of new customers to implementation and customer success teams.
  • Sharing technical knowledge and contributing to the continuous improvement of sales engineering processes.

Requirements include:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or sales engineering role.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Hands-on coding experience in Python/JavaScript/Typescript.
  • Experience of building custom integrations with SaaS vendors' APIs (ex: Jira, SalesForce, Freshdesk, Azure DevOps, etc.)
  • Proven experience in conducting product demonstrations and developing technical proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer engagement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in competitive analysis and market research.
