Job Description
Coast is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join its founding team in Salt Lake City, UT. Coast is innovating in the B2B card payments infrastructure, focusing on commercial fleets and vehicles. The BDR will be the first point of contact for prospective customers, engaging with them to spark interest, uncover pain points, and qualify them for Coast's services.
What this role involves:
- Prospecting, generating, and qualifying leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
- Making outbound calls and emails daily.
- Researching ideal customers and gathering lead information.
- Exceeding monthly quotas for qualified appointments/demos and closed deals.
- Working closely with Account Executives and the sales team.
- Managing the sales pipeline in Salesforce.
- Representing Coast with integrity and professionalism.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in sales or a customer-facing role (B2B preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience carrying and exceeding KPIs and targets.
- Enthusiasm for entrepreneurship and creativity.
