A Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) role is available at Fazz Agen in Jakarta, Indonesia. The SDET will lead the execution of automation testing, working closely with other SDETs, QA engineers, the QA Manager, and the engineering team. The SDET will enhance test design, develop tools and frameworks, and improve the current automation testing framework and processes.

What the role involves:

• Developing new automation test scenarios for mobile, web, and API testing
• Collaborating with QA Engineers, the QA Manager, SDETs, Developers, Product Managers, and Business Owners
• Generating and reporting daily automation test results
• Troubleshooting and maintaining test automation scripts
• Suggesting and recommending process improvements, tools, and enhancements for the test automation framework
• Staying updated on financial technology advancements in the region
• Ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of the test automation project
• Working on test automation pipelines

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Ruby)
• Experience with version control systems such as Git, Subversion, or Mercurial
• Hands-on experience in manual testing within an agile methodology
• Familiarity with RESTful API concepts (e.g., GET, POST, PUT, DELETE)
