Risk Assessment Specialist

Job Description

ABBYY is seeking a Risk Assessment Specialist to enhance its risk management framework and drive information security initiatives. The Risk Assessment Specialist will lead risk assessment activities, identify vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies. This role requires expertise in information security risk management and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of risk assessment methodologies.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, including threat modeling and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units.
• Prepare detailed risk assessment reports for senior management.
• Contribute to the development and revision of security policies.
• Establish mechanisms for ongoing risk monitoring and reassessment.
• Develop and conduct training programs to promote risk awareness.
• Ensure risk assessment activities align with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Risk Management, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in information security, risk assessment, or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of risk assessment frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of information security principles and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with risk assessment tools and software.
