Job Description
ABBYY is seeking a Senior Data Security Engineer to join their team in Budapest, Hungary. This role involves leading the strategy and execution for protecting the organization's sensitive data, ensuring alignment with global regulatory standards. The Senior Data Security Engineer will work on further developing a portfolio already containing client names such as DHL, Johnson & Johnson, FDA, DMV, PwC, KeyBank, Spotify, and H&R BLOCK.
Role involves:
- Developing and implementing data protection frameworks.
- Managing data classification and encryption solutions.
- Ensuring compliance with global data protection laws.
- Developing policies for safe and compliant use of data in AI applications.
- Collaborating with various teams to manage data-related incidents.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in data security, privacy compliance, or cybersecurity.
- Expertise in data classification, encryption, and data loss prevention tools.
- Strong knowledge of global compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CDPSE, CIPP/E) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Experience managing data security in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred.
