Sr. Financial Analyst

Job Description

Platform Science is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. This role involves evolving existing FP&A reporting and forecasting, building new forecast models, and conducting profitability analyses. The Senior Financial Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional leadership to improve internal reporting, drive forecasting improvements, and support efficient scaling within the company.Role responsibilities include:

• Designing and maintaining internal reporting systems.
• Identifying and proposing enhancements to FP&A tools and processes.
• Leading the operating expense budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Collaborating with technical teams to analyze hosting and data costs.
• Providing revenue forecasting support and conducting ad hoc financial analyses.
• Working with departmental leads to prepare annual budgets and quarterly updates.
• Supporting the preparation of presentations for executives, the board, and investors.

Requirements for this position include:

• 5+ years in FP&A or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Experience with Adaptive Planning is strongly preferred.
• Positive attitude and adaptability.
