Senior Software Engineer, Optimize

Job Description

Webflow is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Optimize team, focusing on the development and scaling of AI-powered website optimization and personalization engine. The ideal candidate will contribute to building high-quality, performant, and scalable Webflow experiences. Webflow is pioneer of the Website Experience Platform (WXP).

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-performing, accessible user interfaces.
• Work with technologies like Node.js, React.js, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with designers, PMs, data scientists, and engineers.
• Build scalable APIs and insightful visualizations.
• Tackle complex technical challenges in a distributed team.
• Apply web best practices, including performance optimization and accessibility standards.
• Build, document, and test production code.
• Participate in engineering activities like incident response and code review.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience shipping code for consumer-facing web products.
• Development experience with Node.js, React, TypeScript, and a deep understanding of Javascript/Typescript.
• Familiarity with optimization platforms like Optimizely and VWO, and event tracking tools such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel.
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including responsive design and accessibility standards.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to debug production issues across services.
