Job Description
Dr. Squatch is seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead their Walmart account team. The Senior Account Manager will manage day-to-day customer execution needs and collaborate to execute the company's long-term strategy within brick-and-mortar retail. The role involves working collaboratively across Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to drive activities supporting retail customers and reports to the Director of Retail Sales.Responsibilities include:
- Developing and growing relationships with key decision-makers at key retailers.
- Working closely with brokers, distributors, and external business partners.
- Collaborating with the Director of Retail Sales to build and execute sales strategy.
- Driving progress with the marketing team to create visually stunning merchandising.
- Developing and owning a strategy for trade promotions & customer spending.
- Collaborating with internal teams to facilitate retail initiatives.
- Managing collateral & assets for successful outreach.
- Providing key inputs for account-specific demand planning.
- Ensuring flawless execution of new item launches.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of Sales, Business Development, or Account Management experience in CPG.
- Prior category experience in personal care or wellness is preferred.
- Experience with large established brands and early-stage startups.
- Strong relationships or prior experience working with tier 1 food drug & mass retailers.
- Walmart experience highly preferred.
- Proven success in achieving aggressive sales goals.
- Prior experience managing multiple broker networks.
