Job Description
The iFood is seeking a Data Analyst Specialist to join their team. iFood is a Brazilian technology company that connects thousands of restaurants to millions of consumers daily. The role is fully remote.
The role involves:
- Implementing ETL/ELT solutions and data integration between systems and data sources.
- Understanding business needs and key indicators.
- Translating business demands into data products and delivering insights.
- Creating and managing efficient and scalable data products.
- Managing data projects from requirements to data modeling and availability.
- Maintaining alignment with business stakeholders and data teams.
- Building and maintaining mathematical models to support decision-making.
- Building and maintaining robust infrastructure and services for data processes.
- Serving as a technical reference for the team.
Requirements:
- Flexibility to work in a changing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in building ETLs in PySpark/SQL.
- Effective communication with business areas and technical teams.
- Knowledge of distributed data systems and parallel processing (Spark, Databricks, etc.).
- Ability to generate actionable insights connected to the business.
- Ability to translate business concepts into quantitative metrics.
- Experience in software engineering best practices.
- Good storytelling ability.
- Knowledge in statistics and modeling.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Experience in data modeling.
- Experience in implementing, maintaining, and orchestrating data pipelines.
- Experience with A/B testing.
- Proactivity.
