VTEX is seeking a highly motivated LATAM Payroll Specialist to manage payroll and HR operations for 5 countries (Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico), supporting approximately 200 employees. The role involves driving efficiency and compliance while improving operations through automation and standardization.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in organizing and streamlining Payroll and HR processes.
  • Carry out payroll closing activities, ensuring accuracy and tax compliance.
  • Support adherence to local labor legislation in LATAM countries.
  • Maintain communication with the third-party payroll supplier.
  • Collaborate with Legal to identify potential risks and implement best practices in HR policies.
  • Handle Personnel Administration processes.
  • Assist in preparing management reports and updating policies.
Requirements:
  • Advanced or fluent Spanish (mandatory).
  • Intermediate to advanced level of English.
  • 5+ years of experience in Corporate Payroll and HR processes, including knowledge of international country regulations and familiarity with LATAM payroll.
  • Expertise includes Payroll Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Skilled at prioritizing tasks and multitasking.
  • Availability to learn and work with other countries and regions.
