Senior Software Engineer, Backend

Job Description

VTEX is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing multi-tenant SaaS solutions and a proven track record in backend development. The Senior Backend Engineer will serve as a technical reference for the team, providing guidance and expertise in backend development best practices. They will be responsible for important evolutions of VTEX's products in terms of scalability and product evolution to address main customers demands and market opportunities.

Role involves:

• Providing technical guidance and expertise in backend development.
• Contributing to the scalability and product evolution of VTEX's products.
• Working with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

• Experience in building backend systems for large-scale applications.
• Demonstrated experience in a technical guidance capacity.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages (C# preferred).
• Academic background in Engineering courses.
• Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Portuguese.
