The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing platform resilience, availability, and operational efficiency, supporting over 3,500 online stores across 43 countries.VTEX's SRE team focuses on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of VTEX's systems and applications, fostering a culture of reliability within product teams, and delivering top-notch shared internal-facing observability solutions.Responsibilities:
- Providing infrastructure services to enhance platform resilience and availability.
- Acting as a technical mentor for the team, offering guidance on SRE best practices.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize system architecture.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining robust infrastructure and automation solutions.
- Monitoring system performance and implementing proactive measures.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Go, Python, and Java.
- High skill in software development.
- Proven history of working with extensive infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks at scale.
- Experience in software architecture and cloud computing.
