Job Description
VTEX is seeking a Senior Staff Frontend Engineer to drive technical excellence and shape the future of frontend development. The engineer will define the frontend stack and scale the Frontend Chapter across teams. They will build high-impact applications for the storefront experience, focusing on performance and scalability. This role involves leading engineers, influencing product and design teams, and contributing to career path development within the frontend discipline.
Role involves:
- Defining and evolving the frontend stack.
- Structuring and scaling the Frontend Chapter across teams.
- Building complex, high-impact applications.
- Influencing major projects like FastStore and AI-powered admin experiences.
- Leading and mobilizing engineers.
Requirements:
- Strong background with Next.js and React.
- Hands-on experience building complex frontend applications.
- Experience leading a frontend chapter or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD processes, A/B testing, and rendering strategies.
- Knowledge of caching mechanisms and CDN usage.
- Knowledge of frontend observability.
