VTEX is seeking a Technical Product Manager to bridge the gap between engineering and product strategy. The Technical Product Manager will define guidelines for shipping technical products and technical requirements and prioritize features, and manage the product lifecycle. In this role, the candidate will create a long-term reliability strategy for the company.
The role involves:
- Creating a long-term reliability strategy;
- Prioritizing reliability investments;
- Partnering with engineering and product leads to build product roadmaps for SRE;
- Creating an observability and tooling investments strategy;
- Managing roadmap planning;
- Championing reliability ownership across non-SRE teams;
- Making Build Vs. Buy decisions;
- Defining reliability targets and reporting on performance.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Senior Technical Product Manager;
- Knowledge of SRE best practices and tools (e.g., AWS, Kubernetes);
- Familiarity with coding and programming logic;
- A passion for industry research and advocating for technical best practices;
- Familiarity with Github or other modern CI/CD systems;
- Familiarity with monitoring platforms (e.g., Cloudwatch, Datadog, ELK, New Relic);
- Fluent in English.
