Vonage is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their team in Bangalore, India. This role focuses on providing top-notch technical support to a growing customer base, assisting with the integration of real-time communication APIs and SDKs. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent customer relationship abilities, and a passion for continuous learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues related to customer API and SDK implementations.
  • Communicating effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Identifying bugs and escalating them to the appropriate support level.
  • Contributing to internal and external knowledge bases.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical support, customer success, or technical account management within the Telecommunications or SAAS sectors.
  • Experience supporting or implementing APIs or SDKs.
  • Experience with IP-based real-time multimedia communication technologies and protocols (VoIP, SIP, RTP, WebRTC, WebSockets).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting client and server-side code.
