DevOps Engineer (Development Background) at Vonage

Vonage is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a growing team in Wroclaw, Poland. It's a hybrid role.

The DevOps Engineer will play a critical role in improving operational efficiency by building tools to automate business processes while ensuring organization compliance. The role involves driving operational excellence, identifying opportunities for business process improvements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and building and maintaining internally developed and vendor tools.

What this role involves:

• Driving operational excellence with automation.

• Designing and implementing observability dashboards.
• Developing tools for Just in Time access.
• Developing secure CI/CD pipeline frameworks.
• Building tools to generate periodic reports.

Requirements:

• Willingness and ability to learn quickly.
• Experience building platform engineering tools with Python or Go.
• Experience with automation and configuration management tools.
• Experience with Code Repositories and deployment tools.
• Experience with AWS components and services.
• Experience developing integrations with Collaboration and Issue tracking tools.
• Experience using and developing integrations with Monitoring, Alert Management, Analytics platforms.
• Ideally experience working with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Expertise with Linux Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of user identity management and role-based access concepts.
• Ability to present/lead technical discussions.
• Self-directed and works independently.
