Vonage is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a growing team in Wroclaw, Poland. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency through building tools that automate business processes and ensure organizational compliance. The DevOps Engineer will drive operational excellence by automating business processes that enhance the productivity of Engineering teams.

Role involves:

  • Driving operational excellence through automation.
  • Identifying opportunities for business process improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate tools and services.
  • Building and maintaining internally developed and vendor tools.
  • Designing and implementing observability dashboards.
  • Developing tools for Just in Time access and Incident Management.
  • Developing secure and compliant CI/CD pipeline frameworks.
  • Building tools to generate periodic reports.
  • Documenting troubleshooting steps and providing training.
  • On-call support for business operational tools.

Requirements:

  • Willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Experience building internal platform engineering tools with Python or Go.
  • Experience with automation and configuration management tools like Puppet, Terraform, Ansible.
  • Experience with Code Repositories, and Code deployment tools GitHub, Jenkins, CodePipeline, CodeDeploy, GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with AWS components and services.
  • Experience developing integrations with Collaboration and Issue tracking tools.
  • Experience using and developing integrations with Monitoring, Alert Management, Analytics platforms.
  • Knowledge working with Docker, Kubernetes container technologies.
  • Expertise with Linux Operating Systems and good understanding of TCP/IP networking, IT Security concepts.
  • Knowledge of user identity management, single sign on and role-based access concepts.
  • Ability to present/lead technical discussions.
  • Self-directed and works independently.
