Vonage is seeking a Java/Kotlin Software Engineer to join its Engineering team in Wroclaw, Poland. The company is a global cloud communications leader that helps businesses accelerate their digital transformation.

The Software Engineer will help develop a best-in-class real-time platform for Network APIs.

Role Involves:

  • Building systems to add features across the Network API Platform
  • Creating scalable microservices
  • Writing efficient and scalable code
  • Developing on a public cloud infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Java
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin
  • Practical experience with high-performance, distributed computing systems
  • Expertise in Object-Oriented Design and design patterns
  • Experience with multi-threaded architectures, web services, and caching
  • Familiarity with event-driven pipelines and modern deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
  • Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
