Job Description
Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for Lightspeed NuORDER, its wholesale commerce network. The ideal candidate will work onsite in Montreal office 3 days per week and remotely 2 days per week.
Role involves:
- Driving new business growth within the Lightspeed NuORDER Network segment.
- Contacting executive leaders of brands selling to Lightspeed POS merchants.
- Identifying client needs to determine suitability for NuORDER Connect.
- Prospecting, engaging, nurturing, and qualifying leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborating with the Brand Acquisition Manager to close deals.
- Assisting management in improving communication practices and developing new strategies.
- Cross-functional collaboration with marketing and the NuORDER team.
- Mentoring new SDR representatives.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in retail sales with executive interaction.
- Experience in a target-driven environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
- Fashion industry experience is a strong asset.
- Positive, curious, and results-oriented attitude.
- Dynamic and autonomous.
- Receptive to feedback and eager to improve.
- Fluency in English required.
- Reliable and consistent work ethic.
