Job Description

Lightspeed is seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive revenue growth by generating and qualifying leads for Lightspeed NuORDER, its wholesale commerce network. The ideal candidate will work onsite in Montreal office 3 days per week and remotely 2 days per week.

Role involves:

  • Driving new business growth within the Lightspeed NuORDER Network segment.
  • Contacting executive leaders of brands selling to Lightspeed POS merchants.
  • Identifying client needs to determine suitability for NuORDER Connect.
  • Prospecting, engaging, nurturing, and qualifying leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborating with the Brand Acquisition Manager to close deals.
  • Assisting management in improving communication practices and developing new strategies.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with marketing and the NuORDER team.
  • Mentoring new SDR representatives.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of professional experience, ideally in retail sales with executive interaction.
  • Experience in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills.
  • Fashion industry experience is a strong asset.
  • Positive, curious, and results-oriented attitude.
  • Dynamic and autonomous.
  • Receptive to feedback and eager to improve.
  • Fluency in English required.
  • Reliable and consistent work ethic.
